SL: "Late Night Ride actually did really well for an awful independent release that I was selling out of a box. I handmade probably 200 of these and I sold pretty much all of them, except for a few that I kept for myself. 'What Do You See in Him' was the first original song I ever wrote, 'Your Time' was re-recorded from the first record, and 'The Renegades' was pretty much the only original song written for the Midnight Eyes, who only lasted one show. The Interlude was basically me messing around in some screwed up tuning after restringing my acoustic. This record was the first of my sort of exploring my different voices. As a side note, my current band plays 'Gone Wrong' in our set, very reworked."
